Meet horus

Most children have toy animals in their bedroom. But how would you feel about a real lion cub sitting on your child’s bed? Amazingly, this is exactly how Horus, a two-month-old cub, was discovered in an apartment in the suburbs of Paris, France, in October 2018.

Conflict tigers

In November 2018, a six-year-old tigress, known as Avni, or T-1, was shot dead in Maharashtra, central India. Avni and her two cubs had reportedly killed 13 people since 2016 and were hunted for two years after officials ordered her death.
